Deep Yellow Awards $34 Million Contracts for Tumas Uranium Project in Namibia
Deep Yellow, an Australian-based company listed on the ASX, has awarded two significant civil and concrete construction contracts valued at approximately $34 million for its Tumas Uranium Project located in Namibia. The contracts are part of the company's strategy to secure construction capabilities ahead of a final investment decision, which is expected in the December quarter of 2026. The awarded contracts include an $18.5 million deal with Namibia Construction for reinforced concrete works and a $15.5 million contract with Nexus Building and Civils Contractors for foundational and infrastructure work. Both contracts were awarded through a competitive tender process to Namibian-owned companies, emphasizing the use of local workforces. Mobilization for these projects is scheduled to begin in August.
