U.S. Representative Kevin Mullin to Speak at Genentech Documentary Screening Event
U.S. Representative Kevin Mullin (CA-15) is scheduled to deliver remarks at an event hosted by Genentech and KQED. The event will feature a screening of "The Impossible Bet," a new documentary film produced in collaboration with T Brand Studio, the content studio of New York Times Advertising. This film explores the origins and development of Genentech's South San Francisco roots, highlighting the company's role in launching the modern biotech industry and transforming medicine. The evening aims to showcase the spirit of discovery, curiosity, risk-taking, and experimentation that has driven Genentech's progress.
