Mars Impact Fund Commits $3 Million to National 4-H Council for Youth Agriculture Careers
The Mars Impact Fund has allocated $3 million to the National 4-H Council in the United States. This funding aims to engage up to 200,000 young people in careers related to food, agriculture, and veterinary sciences. The initiative will provide hands-on learning experiences, leadership development opportunities, and tools for career exploration. Additionally, the grant includes scholarships for 60 teenagers to attend Ignite by 4-H, a youth leadership event specifically designed to foster skills and connections for future careers within animal agriculture. This investment is part of a broader commitment by the Mars Impact Fund, which recently announced over $13 million in new grants globally to support various programs, including strengthening farming communities, developing future scientists, and improving animal health.
