Texas Tornado and Georgia Wildfires Highlight Extreme Weather Challenges

The storm, which hit Wise County, displaced 20 families and caused injuries to several individuals. Concurrently, Georgia is battling extensive wildfires, with over 40,000 acres burned and 120 homes destroyed. The fires, exacerbated by drought and gusty winds, have led to air quality warnings in affected areas. The National Weather Service warns of continued severe weather, including potential flash flooding.
