Uncommon Schools, a nonprofit network of high-performing public charter schools, is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to join its New Jersey Facilities team. The position offers an opportunity for an experienced technician with at least seven years of relevant experience to work within a dedicated facilities group. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and modifying HVAC systems across Uncommon's portfolio of buildings, which range from early 1900s constructions to recent developments. The technician will be responsible for conducting minor and major HVAC projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The position requires significant journeyman-level HVAC experience, familiarity with key building systems, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
