US Army Launches 'Reveille Forge' to Enhance Defense Technology Integration
The US Army has inaugurated a new integration facility named 'Reveille Forge' at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. This facility is designed to revolutionize the testing and deployment of advanced defense systems by integrating innovations from industry and academia with government platforms. Operating under the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires, Reveille Forge builds on the success of a previous initiative, Operation Jailbreak, which integrated over 74 capabilities from more than 50 industry partners. The facility aligns with the Army's API Marketplace, introduced in May, to enable secure software interface sharing among vendors. Lt. Gen. Frank Lozano emphasized the importance of collaboration in defense technology, while Jeannie Sommer highlighted the shift to early system integration to expedite technology deployment.
