Kennedy Center Project by Artist Brothers Aims to Unite Americans Amid Division
Steven and William Ladd, artist brothers, have launched the National Scrollathon at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. This exhibition features 10,000 scrolls created by Americans from diverse backgrounds, representing every age, race, and political affiliation. The project aims to foster unity and understanding in a politically divided climate. Participants from all 50 states and U.S. territories contributed to the scrolls, each adding personal messages or symbols. The exhibition is designed to be a cultural project that reflects the diversity and shared stories of Americans, promoting dialogue and empathy.
