New Guide Connects Connecticut Residents to Local Farms and Fresh Food
A new guide, the 2026 Guide to Farm Fresh Food in Northeastern Connecticut, has been released by Grown ConNECTed to help residents find local farms and fresh food. The guide lists over 175 farms, farmstands, and 21 farmers' markets, and includes information on retail stores, restaurants, and food trucks that use locally grown produce. It also features a calendar of agricultural events and a map of the region's farms. The guide aims to promote small family farms and enhance community connections through local food sourcing.
