Japan Airlines Expands Long-Haul Flights Amid Rising Demand
Japan Airlines (JAL) is set to increase its long-haul flight operations in response to a surge in demand for travel to and through Japan. The airline plans to extend daily operations on several routes, including Tokyo Narita to San Diego, Bengaluru, and Melbourne, as well as Tokyo Haneda to Helsinki and Osaka to Los Angeles. This expansion is driven by strong demand for travel between North America and Asia. Additionally, JAL will deploy its Airbus A350-1000 aircraft on its second daily flight between Tokyo Haneda and London Heathrow starting in late October, marking the Northern Winter season. The A350-1000, JAL's new flagship aircraft, will operate flights to major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Dallas-Fort Worth, London, and Paris.
