Tropical Storm Amanda and Two Developing Systems in the Pacific
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently monitoring Tropical Storm Amanda, which is situated well west-southwest of the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Additionally, two areas of low pressure are being observed for potential tropical development. The first system, located offshore of southwestern Mexico, is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are favorable for development, with a 20% chance of formation within 48 hours and an 80% chance over the next seven days. The second system, located offshore of Central America, is also showing signs of development, with a 10% chance of formation within 48 hours and a 70% chance over the next seven days. Both systems are expected to move slowly northward or north-northeastward in the coming days.
