Rochester Public Schools Executive Director Accepted into Fulbright Leadership Program
Brandon Macrafic, the new executive director of learning environments for Rochester Public Schools (RPS), has been accepted into the Fulbright Leaders for Global Schools program. This international program sends U.S. secondary-level school and district-level administrators abroad to share best practices and learn from high-performing education systems. Macrafic will have the opportunity to travel to one of four countries with advanced education systems: the United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, or Singapore, with RPS incurring no expenses for his participation. The upcoming cohort will focus on 'AI and career readiness,' covering topics such as building apprenticeship programs, integrating AI into teaching practices, and exploring international partnerships with local industries to meet workforce needs.
