Ambassador Jamieson Greer met with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum in Mexico City to discuss the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). The meeting focused on economic security, labor, agriculture, electronic payment services, and manufacturing. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening regional supply chains and addressing free-riding from non-parties. The discussions are part of the third bilateral negotiating round, with plans to continue talks in Washington, D.C. in September 2026.
