West Hollywood Pig Chase Goes Viral on TikTok, Leading to Animal Shelter Placement
A small pig running loose in West Hollywood became an internet sensation after Jamaal Harrison filmed his attempts to catch it and posted the videos on TikTok. Harrison, who was riding his e-bike to a Goodwill, encountered the pig and began recording the pursuit. Despite his efforts and those of another individual, the pig evaded capture for a time. Harrison's videos, which documented the unexpected chase, quickly gained traction online, accumulating over 459,000 views on TikTok. The incident garnered significant public attention, with Harrison noting that "Everyone cared about this pig." Following the viral spread of the videos, news outlets, including CBS LA, covered the story. The pig was eventually captured and transported to the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, where it will be held until Thursday to allow its owner to retrieve it.
