Discounted Appliances Offered to Flood Victims in Hawaii
Residents affected by the recent Kona low storms in Hawaii have an opportunity to purchase new appliances at reduced prices through a program initiated by Hawaiâi Energy. The initiative, in collaboration with PHAD Home Appliance, aims to support flood victims by offering discounted rates on essential household items such as dryers, washing machines, refrigerators, and freezers. Prices for these appliances range from $250 to $400, depending on the type and size. The program is designed to alleviate the financial burden on those who have lost their belongings due to the floods, allowing them to focus on rebuilding their lives. Over 300 Hawaiâi Energy customers have already expressed a need for new appliances following the storms.
