World's Largest Sail Cruise Ship 'Orient Express Corinthian' Delivered
The Orient Express Corinthian, the world's largest sail cruise ship, was christened and delivered to its owners, Orient Express Sailing Yachts, in Saint-Nazaire, France. The ship, a product of a decade of research and design, features SolidSail technology for wind propulsion and a hybrid system powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). It is equipped with advanced energy-efficiency devices and an AI-assisted detection system to avoid marine collisions. The ship will begin its commercial service in the Mediterranean before moving to the Caribbean. It accommodates 110 passengers and offers luxury amenities, including five restaurants, a theater, and a spa.
