Former CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin has revealed the emotional distress and financial repercussions she experienced after Megyn Kelly falsely misrepresented a story from Baldwin's Substack. In a July incident, Kelly, on her podcast 'Ruthless,' mischaracterized Baldwin's account of being propositioned by four men in one month. Baldwin had explicitly stated she declined these offers, but Kelly falsely claimed Baldwin's 'mission' included engaging with all four men. Baldwin detailed in a recent Substack entry that Kelly's 'lie kept multiplying' and cost her 'tens of thousands of dollars to defend a version of myself that never existed.' Kelly later acknowledged her mistake on air, stating she hadn't read Baldwin's full post because she 'didn't give a s---.'
