IGC Pharma to Present Tau-PET Biomarker Research at Global Tau Conference
IGC Pharma is set to present its latest research on Tau-PET biomarkers at the 2026 Global Tau Conference in Washington, D.C. The research focuses on using Shannon entropy to measure spatial heterogeneity in tau pathology, a key feature of Alzheimer's disease progression. The study analyzed data from 931 participants and found that more focal tau spreading patterns were linked to worse cognitive outcomes, particularly in APOE4 carriers. This research aims to enhance Alzheimer's disease monitoring and patient stratification, potentially aiding in the development of future therapies.
