Skincare Company Suspends Free NYC Bus Service Days After Launch
The skincare brand The Ordinary has temporarily halted its free bus service in New York City, which was launched to connect Domino Park and Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The service, intended to run through June 9, was designed to address gaps in the city's public transportation system and promote the company's products. The buses were scheduled to operate hourly from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends and noon to 7 p.m. on weekdays, with an expected daily ridership of 1,000 people. However, the service was suspended shortly after its launch, and the company has not provided a clear reason for the halt. City officials are assisting The Ordinary with the necessary permitting process to resume operations.
