Anthropic Faces Challenges After Claude Code Source Leak and Pentagon Dispute
Anthropic, an AI company, is dealing with the fallout from a recent accidental leak of its Claude Code source code. The leak, attributed to human error, exposed parts of the code but did not include sensitive data like customer information or model weights. Despite efforts to remove the leaked code from the internet, developers have continued to share it in various forms. Concurrently, Anthropic is embroiled in a dispute with the Pentagon, which labeled the company a 'supply chain risk' after it refused certain military applications of its AI. This designation has led to a legal battle, with a federal judge temporarily blocking the Pentagon's decision.
