The study involved 47 overweight and obese women aged 50 to 79, who participated in a six-month weight loss program. Participants who adhered to the time-restricted eating schedule showed significant improvements in spatial planning and problem-solving abilities compared to those who ate over a typical 12-hour period. The research indicates that aligning meal times with the body's natural circadian rhythms may enhance cognitive function.
