Kriya Therapeutics Reports Success in Extending Lifespan with Gene Therapy in Mice
Kriya Therapeutics has published preclinical data showing that a single administration of AAV-FGF21 gene therapy extended the lifespan and health span of aged mice. The therapy improved metabolic functions, preserved organ health, and maintained muscle strength and memory. These findings suggest that FGF21 gene therapy could be a promising strategy for promoting healthy aging and treating metabolic disorders. The study, led by Professor Fátima Bosch, highlights the potential of gene therapy to address age-related diseases and improve quality of life.
