Copper Thefts Surge in Denver as New Law Aims to Combat Crime
Copper thefts are on the rise in the Denver metro area, prompting concerns among residents and businesses. In response, a new law has been signed by Governor Polis to address and curb this type of crime. The law aims to make it more difficult for thieves to sell stolen copper by imposing stricter regulations on scrap metal sales and increasing penalties for offenders.
