CISA Releases Guidance on Secure Adoption of Agentic AI Systems
The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), in collaboration with the Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre and other international and U.S. partners, has released a new guide for organizations on the adoption of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) systems. This guidance addresses key security challenges and risks associated with agentic AI, providing actionable steps for designing, deploying, and operating these systems safely. The guide aims to help organizations align AI risk management with existing cybersecurity frameworks and enhance oversight as the adoption of agentic AI grows.
