Multi-day storm threat builds across Plains and Midwest
A new round of severe storms will develop across the Plains starting Wednesday, April 22, from northern Texas to South Dakota, bringing hail and strong winds. The threat intensifies Thursday, April 23, expanding from Oklahoma to Minnesota, including cities like Kansas City and Omaha. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be the main risks, with isolated tornado potential. This system marks the start of another multi-day severe weather pattern across the central U.S.
