Petersen Automotive Museum Unveils Mullin Family Gallery Featuring Rare French Automobiles
The Petersen Automotive Museum has unveiled the Mullin Family Gallery, showcasing a significant collection of pre-war French automobiles. This development follows the closure of the Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, California, which was founded by the late Peter Mullin. The collection, known for its rare Bugattis, Delages, and Talbot-Lagos, has been transferred to the Petersen's Vault. The gallery aims to preserve and display the artistry and craftsmanship of French Art Deco automobiles. The initial display includes notable vehicles such as a 1922 Hispano-Suiza Type H6B and a 1938 Delahaye Type 145 V-12 Coupe.
