Frisbie Memorial Hospital Receives American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Achievement Award for Second Consecutive Year
Frisbie Memorial Hospital, a part of HCA Healthcare, has been honored with the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Mission: Lifeline EMS Gold Achievement Award. This marks the second consecutive year the hospital has received this recognition. The award acknowledges the hospital's dedication to providing swift and evidence-based care for patients experiencing severe heart attacks and strokes. The Mission: Lifeline EMS program is a national initiative by the AHA designed to enhance the system of care for individuals with high-risk, time-sensitive medical conditions. It aims to remove obstacles to prompt treatment, starting from the initial 911 call, through EMS transport, hospital treatment, and eventual discharge. The program emphasizes the critical coordination required between prehospital providers and healthcare systems to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
