This initiative, which stands for suicide prevention, education, awareness, and knowledge, aims to strengthen the university's ability to provide a coordinated, evidence-based approach to suicide prevention. According to Tara Korfhage, associate director of the Center for Family and Community Well-Being and project manager for Cards SPEAK, nearly 2,000 faculty, staff, and students completed QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) training during the previous grant period, with around 500 participating in other mental health programs. Undergraduate Sarah Thompson noted that Cards SPEAK helps students recognize when someone needs support and connects them with resources, making them more comfortable responding during a mental health crisis.

Instead of a single search path, this new method allows each branch to evolve independently, using a distinct subset of development data and its own policy for proposing changes. A router then selects the most suitable branch for each incoming task during deployment.
