The statue, commissioned by the cryptocurrency group $PATRIOT in 2024, depicts Trump with his right fist raised, a pose reminiscent of a moment following an assassination attempt in 2024. Social media users have noted the similarities between Trump's statue and the bronze statue of Kim Il Sung in Pyongyang, which also features a raised arm. The White House has stated it is not involved with the statue, and the comparisons have fueled discussions about the symbolism and implications of such monuments.
