Nonprofit Leader Discovers Homeless Living Inside LA River Bridge Pillars
A nonprofit leader, Juan Naula, recently discovered a man and woman living inside a crawl space within a bridge near the Los Angeles River. This discovery highlights the severe housing crisis in Los Angeles, where some individuals have resorted to living in unconventional and unsafe spaces. The couple, including a man named Gustavo, has been residing in the bridge for three years. The conditions are dire, with the space smelling of smoke and urine, as reported by NBC LA. Naula, who runs the Clean LA With Me Instagram account, has been actively helping the homeless since moving to Los Angeles from the East Coast. He provided the couple with food and water and expressed his emotional response to the situation, stating that such living conditions are unacceptable.
