Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tbilisi recently concluded its Fall/Winter 2026 edition, marking a significant return after a hiatus since May 2023. The event featured 11 shows and three exhibitions, alongside cultural events and a drag ball. The fashion week has faced interruptions due to political unrest in Georgia, including the passage of an anti-LGBTQ+ bill in 2024. Despite these challenges, Georgian designers have continued to gain international attention, with the event serving as a platform to reconnect local talent with global buyers and press. The fashion week is seen as a symbol of resistance and creativity in a region affected by geopolitical tensions.
