Worcester Homeowner Creates Massive Halloween Display to Benefit Childhood Cancer Nonprofit
A Worcester, Massachusetts, homeowner, Alex Cornwell, has dedicated weeks to decorating his property with nearly 200 inflatables and a garage full of animatronics for Halloween. This elaborate display, which he begins setting up on September 1st, extends across his driveway, garage, and a significant portion of his backyard. The motion-sensor activated animatronics in the garage provide an interactive experience for visitors. Cornwell's motivation for this extensive effort is to raise voluntary donations for 'Why Me,' a local nonprofit organization that supports families affected by childhood cancer. He stated that he was diagnosed with cancer at six months old and received tremendous help from the organization, inspiring him to give back. All donations collected go directly to the charity, not towards the cost of the decorations or his electricity bill.
