According to Autoweek, the forecast predicts a significant chance of rain on both Saturday and Sunday, which could impact the race dynamics. This weather scenario may favor drivers who excel in wet conditions. Additionally, NASCAR has extended the race by 10 laps, making it a 100-lap event, which will require teams to adjust their pit-stop strategies. Spire Motorsports, buoyed by recent successes, is looking forward to the challenge, with Carson Hocevar and Daniel Suarez both in strong positions in the Cup standings.
