Autlook Filmsales has acquired the global rights to 'Union Town,' a documentary by two-time Academy Award-winning director Barbara Kopple. The film will premiere at the Venice International Film Festival and later at the Toronto International Film Festival. 'Union Town' explores the lives of essential workers in New York City's last-mile delivery industry, highlighting the resurgence of organized labor. The documentary interweaves the struggles of workers at companies like UPS and Amazon, focusing on the mostly immigrant workforce. The film aims to shed light on modern labor issues and the concept of solidarity.
