Agriculture University in Nepal to Enroll First International Students, Expanding Global Reach
The Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) in Chitwan, Nepal, is set to admit international students for the first time. In its initial phase, the university plans to enroll 10 international students across four undergraduate programs. According to Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Rishiram Kattel, the distribution will include three students each in the Faculties of Agriculture, Forestry, and Veterinary Science, and one in Fisheries Science. The university is finalizing guidelines for international admissions, with tuition fees set at $10,000 for Veterinary Science and $4,000 for other faculties. Notably, foreign applicants will not be required to take the university's regular entrance examination. This initiative is part of AFU's efforts to enhance its international profile and align with globally recognized universities.
