TM Nxera's AI-Ready Data Center in Johor Set for 2026 Launch
TM Nxera has announced that its AI-ready data center campus in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, is on track to begin commercial operations in the second half of 2026. This joint venture between Telekom Malaysia and Nxera, the regional data center arm of Singtel Digital Infraco, marks a significant milestone with the completion of the structural framework of the first building. The data center, with scalability up to 200MW, is set to be one of the largest AI-ready campuses in Malaysia. The project is now moving into the mechanical and electrical installations phase, with a focus on customer onboarding and commercial operations. The facility is designed to support large-scale computing and AI workloads, catering to cloud hyperscalers and GPU-as-a-Service providers.
