Stolen Chemical-Spraying Drones Recovered in New Jersey Warehouse
Fifteen chemical-spraying drones, stolen from CAC International in New Jersey, have been recovered in a warehouse in Dover. The theft, which occurred in late March, involved a counterfeit bill of lading and a fake confirmation email. The drones, capable of dispersing significant amounts of liquid, raised concerns about potential misuse as biological or chemical weapons. The FBI and other agencies are investigating the theft, while the drones' rightful owners have been identified. The incident highlights vulnerabilities in logistics and the potential for industrial equipment to be repurposed for harmful uses.
