Trenton's Comprehensive Plan Committee Engages Community for Future Development
The town of Trenton, Maine, has initiated a comprehensive plan update to guide its development over the next 10 to 20 years. The newly formed Comprehensive Plan Committee, co-chaired by Jarod Rollins and Judy Sproule, consists of 12 local volunteers. The committee has secured technical support from the Hancock County Planning Commission and is actively engaging the community through a public opinion survey and a Community Visioning Session scheduled for October. The plan will address key areas such as housing, land use, natural resources, transportation, and economic growth. The committee aims to involve every voter, taxpayer, and business owner in shaping the town's future.
