Houston Faces Continued Rain and Storms Through the Week

As the week progresses, the rain will become more sporadic, primarily occurring during the afternoon due to daytime heating. This pattern is typical for this time of year in Houston. Additionally, temperatures are set to rise steadily as high pressure builds, leading to warmer and more humid conditions. By the weekend, another upper-level system may bring a renewed chance of organized showers and thunderstorms to Southeast Texas.
