NSF Launches FINDERS Program to Develop Innovative Ed-Tech Tools
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has introduced the FINDERS (Fostering Interdisciplinary Network Driven Educationally Responsive Solutions) Foundry program, which aims to address challenges in U.S. education through the development of research-backed educational technology. The program will allocate up to $8.5 million for planning and development, emphasizing a collaborative approach that involves educators, researchers, and technologists. This initiative seeks to bridge gaps between various stakeholders, including learners, educators, and industry, to accelerate the adoption of innovative educational tools. The program is designed to move tools from early-stage research to real-world classroom use, ultimately facilitating market adoption.
