Michael Lawrence Miller Passes Away After Battle with Cancer

Michael Lawrence Miller, a 54-year-old resident of Lyons, New York, passed away on July 31, 2026, after a yearlong battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his parents, Roseanne and Floyd, and his brothers, Christopher and Jeffery. Michael was known for his work as a railman for Finger Lakes Railway and later as a mail courier at the University of Rochester. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working out, lifting weights, and biking. His memorial mass is scheduled for August 22 at St. Mary’s Church in Canandaigua, with interment at Calvary Cemetery.
