Little Rock Public Radio (LRPR) has been recognized with several prestigious journalism awards, highlighting the excellence of its reporting team. The station's flagship podcast, Track One, received the 2026 Regional Murrow Award for Best Podcast in the Radio (Small Market) category for Region 9, which encompasses Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. This accolade allows the podcast to advance to the national competition, with winners to be announced in August. Additionally, LRPR's news team secured multiple awards from the Arkansas Press Women 2026 Communications Contest. Notably, Politics and Government Reporter Josie Lenora earned three first-place awards, including one for her story on an Arkansas white supremacist group. Lenora, along with Morning Edition host Nathan Treece, also won a first-place award for their coverage of the 'No Kings' protests in Little Rock. The team is also in contention for the 2026 Diamond Journalism Awards, with winners to be announced on July 25.
