Circle of Friends Establishes Endowment to Support Russell County Community Initiatives
The Circle of Friends, a group originally formed for social gatherings, has established a permanent endowment with the Russell County Area Community Foundation (RCACF). This endowment is aimed at supporting local projects, particularly those related to childcare and other community-strengthening initiatives in Russell County. The group, which has evolved from a social gathering into a philanthropic entity, is committed to giving back to the community they cherish. Contributions to the Circle of Friends Fund are tax-deductible and can be made through various means, including checks, credit card donations, and gifts of stock, grain, or livestock. Additionally, donors have the option to include the fund in their estate plans, ensuring a lasting impact on the community.
