Ancient Golden Helmet Recovered After Theft from Dutch Museum
Dutch authorities have successfully recovered a 2,500-year-old golden helmet, a national treasure from Romania's Dacia civilization, which was stolen from a museum in the Netherlands last year. The recovery was announced during a press conference in Assen, where the helmet was displayed alongside two golden bracelets. The theft, involving a homemade bomb and sledgehammer, strained relations between the Netherlands and Romania. Three men have been arrested in connection with the heist, and their trial is set to begin later this month. The helmet, though slightly dented, is expected to be restored without permanent damage.
