AMD Expands FSR 4.1 Upscaling Technology to Older Graphics Cards
AMD has announced the expansion of its FSR 4.1 upscaling technology to older graphics cards. The update will first be available for GPUs with AMD's RDNA 3 architecture in July, followed by a rollout to RDNA 2 chips in early 2027. This expansion will allow owners of Radeon RX 7000-series chips to access the upscaling technology across more than 300 supported games, including popular titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed Shadows. The FSR 4.1 update, initially launched for Radeon RX 9000-series graphics cards, enhances performance by providing sharper visuals and smoother gameplay.
