Damiano's introductory essay specifically highlights the intense romantic relationship between Blair and Daura, whom Blair met and became engaged to within six weeks of their meeting in Paris.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has rejected a complaint filed by Oklo, an advanced nuclear technology company, which sought to reinstate its 750-MW mixed technology project into PJM Interconnection's current study cycle. The project, intended to interconnect at two Dominion Energy substations between Washington, D.C., and Richmond, Virginia, was withdrawn by PJM in early August due to what PJM identified as 'deficiencies' and Oklo's failure to resolve flaws in its application. Oklo's project includes 150 MW of advanced nuclear generation, 300 MW of fuel cells, and 300 MW of gas-fired generation. FERC concluded that Oklo failed to demonstrate that PJM violated its tariff by withdrawing the project. This decision will delay the project by at least 18 months and increase its costs, according to Oklo.
