McGraw Hill has announced the acquisition of TeachFX, an AI-native instructional coaching platform. This acquisition aims to bolster McGraw Hill’s professional learning capabilities and provide educational institutions with new tools to improve curriculum implementation and classroom outcomes. TeachFX utilizes classroom audio recordings and proprietary AI and diarization technology to analyze teacher-student interactions. It generates feedback on instructional practices, such as questioning strategies and encouraging student explanations, offering actionable insights to educators and instructional coaches without increasing their workload. This move follows McGraw Hill’s earlier acquisition of Teachally, another AI-powered platform designed to help educators adapt and customize curriculum. The financial terms of the TeachFX acquisition were not disclosed.
