Michigan Expands Mental Health Crisis Services and 988 Lifeline Support Through New State Contracts
New state contracts are set to significantly expand mental health crisis services in Michigan, primarily through Common Ground, an Oakland County-based nonprofit. This funding, provided by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, will enable Common Ground to continue its existing operations and serve as a national backup for the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline program.
