Amylyx Pharmaceuticals Highlights Post-Bariatric Hypoglycemia Research at ENDO 2026
Amylyx Pharmaceuticals has announced its participation in the Endocrine Society's Annual Meeting (ENDO 2026) with two poster presentations. The presentations focus on post-bariatric hypoglycemia (PBH), a condition affecting individuals who have undergone bariatric surgery. The first presentation examines the healthcare burden and quality of life impacts of PBH in the U.S., while the second discusses the design of the Phase 3 LUCIDITY trial for avexitide, a GLP-1 receptor antagonist being developed to treat PBH. Avexitide has shown promise in reducing hypoglycemic events in clinical trials and has received several FDA designations, including Breakthrough Therapy and Orphan Drug status.
