US State Department Expands Passport Application Events Nationwide
The U.S. State Department has announced a series of passport acceptance events across the country throughout April. These events aim to provide additional opportunities for individuals to apply for passports outside of regular business hours. The initiative is designed to accommodate the high demand for passports as more Americans plan international travel. Events will be held at various locations, including libraries, post offices, and community centers, with some requiring appointments while others do not. The State Department emphasizes that these events are supplementary to existing passport facilities.
