Four Tornados Confirmed in Central Pennsylvania Over Weekend
The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed that four tornados touched down in Central Pennsylvania over the weekend, causing significant damage across multiple counties. The strongest tornado, an EF-2, struck the Warriors Mark area in Huntingdon County on Saturday night, reaching wind speeds of up to 125 mph. This storm caused extensive damage to trees, structures, silos, and an occupied cabin. Additionally, an EF-1 tornado with wind speeds of 110 mph impacted the Houtzdale/Woodward Township area in Clearfield County. Another EF-1 tornado uprooted trees in Summerville near the Clarion and Jefferson county line, with wind speeds of 90 mph.
